Manage AI connections¶
Who can do this
Anyone with Manage Users.
Open Settings → AI Connections. Below your own connections is Manage AI connections for your account.
Switch AI connections on or off¶
Allow AI connections is on by default. Switching it off pauses every AI app connected to the account straight away. Nothing is deleted, and switching it back on restores every connection as it was.
Limit what AI apps may do¶
Under What members may let an AI app do, untick anything you don't want AI apps to do in this account:
- Make changes
- Send messages as you
- Record payments
- Delete records
- Change your automations
Read your CRM can't be unticked. To stop reading as well, switch AI connections off.
An unticked permission shows as unavailable when a member connects an app, and stops working on apps that are already connected. Each member is still limited to their own BaseCloud rights as well.
See and disconnect connections¶
Every connection in your account lists each member's connected apps: who connected it, which app, what it may do, when it was connected and when it was last used. Click Disconnect to end one. The member can connect again unless you have switched AI connections off.
Replace the connector link¶
An account's own connector link only starts the sign-in page. Nobody can use it without a BaseCloud login. If it has still ended up somewhere it shouldn't be, click Replace URL. The old link stops working, and members add the new one to their AI apps.
See what an AI app did¶
Open the Activity Log. Changes made through an AI app carry the app's name next to the person, such as "via Claude". See Find your way around.
Who can connect what¶
A member needs CRM Access to connect at all. What they can allow depends on their rights: Pay Invoices for recording payments, Create and change automations for changing workflows, Delete Clients for deleting clients and Send Bulk for messaging several contacts at once. Set these under User rights.
